Silk Trees & Palms

1. When choosing silk tree or silk palm tree sizes, remember that each style has a different natural width. For example, a weeping willow will have a greater foliage spread than a dracaena tree.

2. For greater naturalism, some silk trees have trunks made from real bark or wood material.

3. If your silk palm trees will be kept outdoors, polyfiber materials or UV-protected leaves are best.

4. Except in rooms with cathedral ceilings, silk trees and silk palm trees should be about two feet shorter than the ceiling.

5. To give your silk tree or artificial palm a fuller look, try shaping or gently bending the lower and upper branches.

6. The higher the number of leaves a silk palm tree has, the more lifelike its appearance will be.
